Cahal Pech is always a challenge to photograph, it is also one of the most intriguing and interesting archaeological sites. No huge structures to focus on, always tree cover creating very harsh contrasts. Even thought this shoot was not planned and we knew rain was coming I decided to give it a go. I think the photos do have a different personality from ones I have taken before. I also had my 3 girls, with me so I know I have to come back and do some serious work but I think some of these might come in handy one day. I am glad I listened to my brother who asked, “Have you ever shot in the rain?” Highlight was waiting in a Maya room waiting for the rain to stop with some very well behaved and awesome girls!!!
